Jimmy and Chuck is an episode of the American television sitcom Yes, Dear.

[edit] Plot

Jimmy is having a meeting with other security guards, Roy and Billy, and tells them that an actor is going to be shadowing them for an upcoming movie role. Just then Chuck Norris walks in. Jimmy comes home and tells everyone the good news. Greg starts singing the Walker Texas Ranger theme song. That night Jimmy has a dream that he is staring in a movie with Chuck. Roy has a dream that he is Norris’ partner on Walker Texas Ranger. Billy dreams that he is in an infomercial for exercise equipment with Norris.

The next morning everyone is trying to suck up to Chuck; Roy is wearing cologne, Jimmy is brushing up on the security guard manual, and Billy is wearing the formal uniform. Minutes after Chuck shows up they receive a call that a lady is locked out of her office and needs important papers for a meeting. Jimmy tries to open the door, but can’t find the right key on his ring. Billy attempts to help and only succeeds in breaking it off in the lock. Roy tries to break the door down, but it doesn’t budge. Roy and Billy start to fight over who is going to break the door down and Jimmy attempts to break them up. They all fall through a coffee table and it breaks. Jimmy says he isn’t going to lose his job over something stupid. Chuck invites Jimmy over to his house later that night.

When Jimmy gets to the Norris’ house he finds Chuck carrying his daughter Dakota and is shocked to find out that he has kids. Chuck asks Jimmy if he wants a drink, but the only things he has are juice boxes. Jimmy starts to explain his job to, but Chuck wants to know if Jimmy knows the words to a kids song so he can sing it for his kids. Christine asks him how it was hanging out with Chuck. Jimmy tells him he is just a regular dad. Jimmy calls Chuck to asks what time to be at work and what you do when your kids get up in the middle of the night.

The next morning, Chuck invites Jimmy to work out with him, but it turns out to be a group of kids that sing and play with their parents. Jimmy tells Christine that Chuck’s been calling him all morning asking for advice on various subjects. He tells her he didn’t picture hanging out with Chuck Norris the dad. He tells her he is going to break up with Chuck.

Jimmy meets Chuck in a bar and tells them their friendship isn’t working out because he wants to hang out with Chuck Norris the actor not Chuck Norris the dad. Chuck tells Jimmy that he is not like that in real life only on the big screen. Chuck says he can’t live up to that. He starts to leave when a man comes over and starts shoving Norris. Chuck knocks him out and beats up everyone else in the bar. Jimmy tells him that is what he wants. Chuck tells him he had his chance and leaves.
