Jimmy Stafford

Jimmy Stafford is the lead guitarist and backing vocals of the band Train. The band has won at least one Grammy award. He is sometimes referred to as "Jimmy Jammer". He was born in Morris, Illinois on April 26th 1964. He produced a band from Las Vegas called Skypool.

Jimmy Stafford is currently writing his first book titled "The Guitar on the Wall" that is projected to be complete by fall 2008.

About the book ..The Guitar on the Wall.. is a coming of age story about a teenage boy who decides to write a book about his famous father, a rock star who died alongside his band mates in a bizarre tour bus accident three months before he was born. With the help of his high school English teacher and an offbeat ex-superfan, the charismatic and talented Samuel J. Wilson embarks on a fact-finding journey to unearth the life of a man he never knew. Jimmy is the proud father of a young daughter. He currently spends his time between his homes in Las Vegas and Chicago.
