Greg stops her and asks why Jimmy & Christine. Kim says that they are family. Greg suggests his sister. Kim tells him his sister doesn’t even know Sam’s name. Greg agrees that Jimmy & Christine are probably the best choice. Greg says Jimmy will just have to die first. When they get home, Kim tells Jimmy & Christine that they want them to take care of Sam. The Hughes tell Greg they will raise Sam like one of their own. Greg tells them he taught Sam to use a fork for nothing. Greg tells Jimmy & Christine that even if they are hooked up to machines they can prop Sam at the edge of their beds and they will watch them. Jimmy asks them how they be able to take care of Sam on his salary. Greg says he has plenty of life insurance. Jimmy asks how much. Greg refuses to answer. Jimmy asks if Sam will be the one that receives the money. Greg says his sister will handle the money and if they need any to asks her. Jimmy asks why he can’t handle the money. Greg tells him Jimmy will probably buy a candy store with it. Greg says because if he loses Sam he might find his way home, but if he loses his money its gone for good. Kim tells Greg that they should give Jimmy their tax refund to see how well he can handle the money.

The tax refund is for $1,500 which Jimmy invested into a stock called United Foods. Jimmy checks the stock and it keeps going up and down which makes him crazy. The next day, Greg is at the golf course looking for his golf ball when Jimmy comes out of the water in scuba gear. Jimmy says he pulled his money out of the stock market and invested into a golf ball retrieval business. That evening, Jimmy & the boys are counting their golf balls and find out they collected 300 of them. Greg tells Kim about Jimmy’s business while Jimmy cleans his golf balls in the dishwasher. Greg is furious that he spent all the money on the business. Jimmy tells them not to worry because he gets 25 cents for each ball so he gets $125 for one days work. He says he’ll have their money back in three months.

The next day the Hughes only find 10 balls. Jimmy tells Christine about his day and she asks how could he only get ten balls when he got 300 yesterday. Jimmy tells her he must have gotten them all yesterday. Christine says that he will have to tell Greg & Kim, but Jimmy refuses to let them know he failed. The following morning, Jimmy distracts people on purpose in order to steal their golf balls, but it wasn’t enough. Jimmy gives up and tells Greg & Kim he didn’t do enough research. Kim tells him don’t give up and to try again sometime. Jimmy tells them he‘ll do better with the next time. Kim tells them they are out of money. Jimmy offers to give their money back. Greg says he kissed the money goodbye when he gave it to him. Jimmy says he had other ideas like a home security force with the guys from work. Greg asks why didn’t he do that because it was at least reasonable. Jimmy tells him because he couldn’t do that with Dominic & Logan. Greg tells him he can now trust Jimmy with Sam since he thought about the kids instead of money. Jimmy has a dream that he is buying everything in a candy store when he wakes up. He tells Greg he has a dream he was dead. Greg says he was in a candy wasn’t he. Jimmy says yes.
