Jim Stafford

Jim Stafford (born James Wayne Stafford, 16 January 1944, in Eloise, Florida) was a comedian and musician in the 1970s. Stafford had semi-novelty hits with the songs, "Spiders and Snakes", "Swamp Witch Hattie", "Wildwood Weed" and the controversial "My Girl, Bill", and one called "Turn Lose Of My Leg". He continues to work as a comedian in Branson, Missouri performing at the Jim Stafford Theater.

- In the 1960s, Stafford was in a Florida band which also featured singer-songwriter Lobo, and future music legend Gram Parsons.
- He also recorded a song for Clint Eastwood`s movie, Any Which Way You Can, entitled "Cow Patti".
