Jim Sadowski

James Michael Sadowski (born August 7, 1951 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is a former relief pitcher in Major League Baseball who played briefly for the Pittsburgh Pirates during the 1974 season. Sadowski batted and threw right handed. He is the nephew of Bob, Ed and Ted Sadowski, who also played in the majors.
In one-season career, Sadowski posted a 0-1 record with one strikeout and a 6.00 ERA in four games pitched. He also played for the Kansas City Royals and Cincinnati Reds minor league systems.
After nine years in professional baseball, Sadowski started a successful banking career. In addition, he remains actively involved in several community programs including serving as an officer with the Pittsburgh Pirate Alumni Association.
