Jim Pugliese

Jim Pugliese (born James Pugliese in Newark, New Jersey, 1952) is an American percussionist, drummer, and composer.

He studied with Raymond Des Roches and Pablo Landrum. He has performed with John Cage, Philip Glass, Carlos Chavez, John Zorn, Anthony Coleman, Annie Gosfield, David Shea, Marc Ribot, Chris Cutler, Eric Qin, Dadadah, the Harry Partch Ensemble, and for twelve years with Dean Drummond's Newband. Christine Bard, Michael Evans, and Pugliese make up the groups EasSide Percussion and Pugliese's group Soultronix.
