Jim Baen's Universe is a bimonthly science fiction and fantasy webzine created by Jim Baen that launched in June 2006 as an experiment in e-publishing. To settle any questions regarding its future following Jim Baen's untimely death in June, 2006 Eric Flint, its editor-in-chief, announced within its electronic pages that the magazine would continue on schedule.

On December 1, 2006 Mike Resnick was added as executive editor, and on that same day the magazine teamed with the award winning podcast The Future And You which is hosted by Stephen Euin Cobb.
