Jill McLain

Jill Christine McLain is a beauty queen from Montana who has competed at Miss USA.
McLain held the title Miss Montana USA 2006 which she won in September 2005. She had previously placed 3RU at Miss Montana Teen USA in both 2002 and 2003 and competed in the same pageant in 2001. Her sister Miss Montana Teen USA 2006 titleholder was Katie Blair, who in August won the Miss Teen USA pageant, becoming the first national titleholder from Montana.
On April 21 2006 McLain competed for the title of Miss USA 2006 in Baltimore, MD. She did not place in the pageant, which was won by Tara Conner of Kentucky. At 5'1" she was the shortest delegate in the competition.
McLain comes from Havre, Montana. Having graduated from Havre High School in 2002 she pursued a degree in biology and chemistry from Dickinson State University (Dickinson, North Dakota) which she will complete in 2007. McLain will then transfer to Rocky Mountain College (Billings, Montana)and attend the masters program to become a physicians assistant. One of her achievements has been coming very close to finding an advancement in knowledge dealing with prostate and ovarian cancer and the effects of lycopene. She is also on a team designing a specialized space suit for NASA.
Her interests and hobbies include hunting, racquetball, scrapbooking and photography.
