Jigsaw (website)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jigsaw is a website that facilitates the selling and trading of business contacts. It was founded on January 1, 2004 by Jim Fowler, and contains approximately three million contacts from 150,000 companies.

They were the subject of an article in the San Francisco Chronicle claiming that they do not respect the privacy of individuals whose contact information is entered onto the website, as well as a potential breeding ground for identity theft. Fowler has defended this claim, stating that he expects business information to be public, and that they only deal with business-related contact information.
