Jig (jewellery)

A jig is a tool used to make wire jewellery. It can be a board or a plate that has holes where pegs can be fitted in order to bend wire around the pegs in a decorative manner. Many different kinds of jewellery can be made on one including earrings, necklaces and bracelets.
