Jhongsing Village, historically spelled Chunghsing Village, is located in Nantou County, Taiwan and is the seat of the Taiwan Provincial Government. "Jhongsing" means "resurgence of prosperity".

It is a new town. With all the buildings owned by the government, development is strictly controlled and carefully planned.

Taipei, which is the capital of the Republic of China, was also the capital of Taiwan province until 1956. Since the move of the provincial government from Taipei to Jhongsing Village was done after 1949 by a government the People's Republic of China does not regard as legitimate, the PRC publishes Taipei as the provincial capital on its official maps.
