Jhankaar Beats is a Bollywood movie released in 2003.

The story is about two friends, Deep (Sanjay Suri) and Rishi (Rahul Bose) who compete in an annual pop music contest called Jhankaar Beats -- and lose every year. Their obsession with the contest (and with the music of R.D. Burman) leads to problems in their personal and professional lives.
