What is a "Wimpel"? - SF2K1

It's nonsense that someone put in, I have removed it now. IZAK 10:10, 2 Dec 2004 (UTC)
actually, its a real thing. I drafted an entry for it on my Page Rabbi-m 04:26, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

Beautiful! JFW | T@lk 14:41, 25 Aug 2004 (UTC)

I have removed a lot of topics that have no relation to the topic. For instance, tefillin are actually physical objects. The Amidah is a set of 19 prayers found in the siddur (classic Jewish prayerbook.) Halakha is a collective term for all of Jewish law and tradition. A rabbi is a religious leader. None of these are parts of the Jewish life cycle. The Jewish life cycle is a series of rituals and events, not objects, prayers or clergy. RK 12:57, Aug 31, 2004 (UTC)

Even though Tefillin are physical objects, one doesn't wear them until their Bar Mitzvah. This would make them time relative - SF2K1

I just noticed that we now have a Template:JewishHolidays (excellent job!). We can now separate holidays and life-cycle events. RK 21:50, Aug 31, 2004 (UTC)

Zeved habat page is created, and (non-red) link added to the template. -- Olve 22:12, 5 Oct 2004 (UTC)

This template has evolved beyond its name. It should be renamed (e.g. Judaism topics). JFW | T@lk 20:10, 2 Nov 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Talmud study

It seems a little odd that Talmud study forwards to Daf Yomi. Perhaps a mention of Daf Yomi on the Torah study page would suffice? Jfr26 19:40, 8 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Menorah

I have removed Menorah since it was an item used in the temple, (not a Chanukkiyah what we light on channucha). It is not part of modern Jewish life. It would make as much sence to put the Urim and Thummim or Ark of the Covenant. Jon513 02:58, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] "get"

Why is get is quotes? perhaps italics would make more sence. Jon513 13:04, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
