Whoever put that animated picture is a genius. That just made my day, and I'm not trying to be sarcastic or anything. Thanks.

[edit] Cleaning

This article is badly formatted, horribly written and has far too many sections which only contain one sentence (like RID and IDW). I see the following task as needing doing:

Gathering all the Jetfire homages together into one section.
Making the legal issues a separate section.
Formatting the Armada to include deatils of Jetfire's cartoon and comic appearances. The entries for his combined forms are really shoddy, and feature terrible pictures of the toys.
IDW haven't published anything about Jetfire yet, and Hasbro haven't released the Titanium toy, why are these sections written in the past tense?
More details about the Marvel comic appearances. If there aren't any, the a sentence saying "Jetfire did not make any further appearances in the Marvel comics".
The Dreamwave section looks like it was written by a 6 year-old.
The grammar's shocking throughout. I feel a complete rewrite is in order.

I agree with more Marvel comics info; Jetfire actually did a bunch of other stuff in the UK comics IIRC.

Where the hell does a Robotech/Macross´s VF-1S Super Valkyrie Fighter come out as a Transformer from? When have u ever seen a Transformer in Guardian Mode?
It came out as a toy in 1985, and he had a "guardian" mode in his instuction booklet. user:mathewignash

[edit] Repaint

Could someone please find a citation that the Micro Jetfire will be a repaint of Micro Cybertron Thundercracker? This needs to be something in text that says this. --Chris Griswold () 04:25, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

I don't think Hasbro states that are making cheap repaints as part of their press releases, however, you could just LOOK at them. Same mold, different paint application. Such things have never been mentioned by Hasbro on it's web site, however, numerous TF news sites have reported it as such, like this one: http://www.seibertron.com/news/view.php?id=8403 user:mathewignash
Great, now you finally get it: You can't expect peiople who are not intimately familiar with transformers to look at a picture and know that it's a repaint. I don't know why that is difficult to understand. --Chris Griswold () 23:49, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
Sadly you don't seem to get it. The guys on that web site just looked at it and saw it was obviously a repaint. How they are more an authority that any other TF fan writing Wikipedia is beyond me. user:mathewignash
Not everyone is a Transformers fans, or is even familiar with the concept of repaints or redecos. These things aren't obviosu to the casual reader. WesleyDodds 00:32, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
