JetGreen Airways

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

JetGreen Airways was an airline based in Ireland. It started and ceased operations in 2004. [1]

[edit] History

The airline was established in 2003, started operations on 4 May 2004 and ceased operations on 12 May 2004. It was a tour operator which launched charter flights under the air operators certificate of Icelandair, using a single Boeing 757. It ceased operations due to financial difficulties. [1]

The company had been selling budget travel packages from Dublin Airport to Alicante and Málaga in Spain. It had been taking bookings for the routes although it had not organised the landing slots with Aer Rianta in Dublin Airport. [2]
