IMDb profile

Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter is a 2001 cult film from Odessa Filmworks which deals with Jesus's modern-day struggle to protect the lesbians of Ottawa, Canada, from vampires with the help of Mexican wrestler El Santos (Based on El Santo Enmascarado de Plata) (played by actor Jeff Moffet, who starred as El Santos in two other Odessa Filmworks productions).

This film earned an honorable mention in the Spirit of Slamdance category at the 2002 Slamdance Film Festival. [1]

The soundtrack features several songs by The Hammerheads, including "Everybody Gets Laid Tonight", which is derivative of Journey's "Any Way You Want It".

The movie's tagline is "The power of Christ impales you", a play on the quote "the power of Christ compels you" often used in exorcisms and famously used in the movie The Exorcist (impalement is the traditional way of killing vampires).
