Jessica Buchanan Vega is a fictional character on the ABC soap opera, One Life to Live. Actress Erin Torpey is best known in the role, after playing her continuously for 12 years. Following her departure in 2003, Bree Williamson took over the role.

Jessica Eugenia Buchanan is the daughter of Victoria Lord and Clint Buchanan. Immediately after her birth, she was taken from her mother, Viki, leaving the Buchanan's raising Natalie alone as a newborn, until Natalie was kidnapped by the mentally unstable Allison Perkins. Allison kept the baby for weeks until she was returning Jessica to their mother. Jessica led a privileged life growing up in the Lord Llanfair Estate where she grew up to be an independent and strong teenager.

When Clint and Viki began to experience marital problems, Viki became involved with Sloan Carpenter. An upset Jessica started to smoke and drink, but the best way was to cope with her parents' divorce.

Jessica met Cristian Vega who was from Angel Square. They shared an immediate attraction to each other, but Jessica's father, Clint, and Cristian's mother, Carlotta Vega, objected the relationship forcing them to see each other in secret. Cristian wanted more than a platonic relationship which made Jessica very uncomfortable. One night when engaging in sexual activity, they were caught by Clint. Jessica was then forbidden from seeing Cristian.

Later, Jessica was kidnapped by Stephen Haver (Matthew Ashford), a serial killer who had been preying on the female alumni of Llanview University. After the emergence of her repressed alter ego, Tess, she has been involved with Nash Brennan and is currently engaged to Antonio Vega. It was discovered a man named Norman Leeds video taped and molested her. Recently, Jessica gave birth to a daughter, Brennan.
