Jesse and the Rippers is the fictional band of which Full House's Uncle Jesse was the lead singer.

It also became a tongue in cheek name of at least three actual rock bands. The most prominent of these bands hailed from Columbus, Ohio, and was active 2000-2003. Their abrasive live shows often included nudity,and ended with the audience dousing the 5 piece band in beer.
