Jesse Chatman (born September 22, 1979 in Houston, Texas) is an American football running back.

Chatman was signed as an undrafted free agent in 2002 by the San Diego Chargers after a stellar college career at Eastern Washington University. Chatman saw mostly limited action from 2002-2004 as a reserve running back and special teams contributor. His best season came in 2004 when he gained 392 yards and scored three touchdowns. Chatman was released by the Chargers after the 2004 season and was picked up by the Miami Dolphins. He was soon traded to the New Orleans Saints, but they released Chatman a short time after acquiring him.

First-team Associated Press I-AA All-America selection…Big Sky Conference Offensive Player of Year and first- team all-conference…recorded fourth-highest single season rushing total in I-AA history with 2,096 yards…finished career with 4,173 yards and 53 touchdowns. He played at Eastern Washington from 1999-2001.

Chatman was a highly decorated prep running back at Franklin High School in Seattle, where he was coached by former NFL running back Terry Metcalf.
