Career Highlights

Jess Sinclair (born August 26, 1978) is an Australian rules footballer.

Known for his long blonde locks, Sinclair is a dashing half back flanker who has been a solid player for, first the Fremantle Dockers (which recruited him in the 1996 AFL Draft at pick #31), and currently the Kangaroos.

[edit] Early career

Jess represented Eastern Ranges for the TAC Cup. He was seen as a development player but blossomed early, in 2000 he lost some form and was off-loaded to the Kangaroos. He struggled to shine in the first half of the year but found his feet and showed genuine class at the end of the year.

[edit] 2002-2006

Siclair transformed and showed more goods by becoming a rebounding defender in 2002, leaving his old back pocket role. He was made to earn his place after being axed in the first half of the year. In 2003 he had an above average year with it being spoiled in Round 20 by earning a five match suspension that delayed his start to 2004. His form decreased in 2004. He played only 17 games for 245 possessions. Signed a two year contract. When Lance Picoane, the person who he had struck in Round 20 2003 which earned him a five matcher, arrived at the club in the 2004-2005 break , many people joked that they wouldn't get along. They got on extremeley well until Lance was sadly cut from the list in 2005 off season. Jess had a better season in 2005, despite being troubled by a thigh injury gained 400+ possessions in 20 games. Sinclair has received many wake up calls during 2006 but now is finding his feet as the 2006 shoe didn't fit him well. He is used to more rebounds but there are less and less happening.
