Jess Jackson is a self-made billionaire who started the Kendall-Jackson wine empire with a 20-acre vineyard in the early 1970s. In 2005 he is listed by Forbes Magazine as the 366th wealthiest person in the world (tied with many others), with 1.8 billion dollars in assets.

Jackson, in his mid-70's, currently resides in Healdsburg, California.
