Jersey City Public Schools

The Jersey City Public Schools is a comprehensive community public school district located in Jersey City, New Jersey.
Jersey City is one of New Jersey's 31 Abbott Districts.
Dr. Ronald E. McNair Academic High School, the most recently founded public school in Jersey City, was previously ranked as the top high school in New Jersey according to New Jersey Monthly magazine. In contrast, William L. Dickinson High School, located near Jersey City's downtown area, is the oldest high school in the city.
The Hudson County Schools of Technology (which also has campuses in North Bergen and Secaucus) is not affiliated with JCPS.
