[edit] History

Jersey All Pro Wrestling is an independent wrestling promotion that was founded by "Fat" Frank Iadeavia on April 19, 1997 in Lake Hiawatha, New Jersey.

Rather than creating a festival, circus-like atmosphere commonly seen in WWE, Jersey All Pro prides itself on its old-fashioned, no-nonsense approach to professional wrestling. JAPW holds events approximately once per month at small venues throughout northern and central New Jersey. It has also recently run shows in the Boston area in mid to late 2005 and early 2006.

Jersey All Pro Wrestling is easily the most highly respected independent wrestling company in the Northeast, and one of the most respected in the country. Many loyal fans feel that the quality of its wrestling matches is so vastly superior to that of WWE that they have abandoned televised wrestling entirely. In an industry where most independent promotions often fail to stay in business longer than a few months, Jersey All Pro's popularity only continues to soar as it approaches its milestone tenth anniversary.
