Jerry Lodge

Jeremy Lodge (born Sutton, Surrey 1934) is a historian, statistician, writer and a retired insurance agent.

Jerry Lodge was born the youngest of three brothers. His eldest brother Tony became an anglican priest and his elder brother Derek Lodge became a civil servant and a legendary cricket statistician.

He was educated at Rutlish School and he led a successful insurance career at Willis Faber & Dumas (later Willis Coroon), specialising in fire insurance.

He is a lifelong Surrey CCC member and an active part of the Surrey Statistics Group. He is active in historical and statistical research. He has had a number of books published to acclaim. He followed his brother Derek into the ACS and he is currently serving as the Association's Treasurer.
