Jerry Deloach

Jerry Deloach (born July 17, 1977 in Sacramento, California) is an American football player who currently plays defensive end.

Deloach played college football for the University of California and entered senior year ranked by The Sporting News as the nation's fifth-best defensive tackle. Unfortunately, he only played in first two games then neck and shoulder injuries limited him to just three games. He posted six tackles and two sacks and was invited to play in the All-Star Gridiron Classic, as well as the Shrine Game and Senior Bowl.

Deloach was picked up as a free agent and played for the Washington Redskins and played the 2001 season there. Since the 2002 season when he moved to Houston, he has played in 58 games.

He is currently signed with the San Francisco 49ers and is one of their back-up defensive lineman. He plays defensive end, but can play defensive tackle as well.
