Jerry Behn is the Iowa State Senator from the 24th District and Assistant Majority Leader in the Iowa Senate. He has served in the Iowa Senate since 1996.

Behn currently serves on several committees in the Iowa Senate - the Business and Labor Relations committee; the Economic Growth committee; the Human Resources committee; and the Commerce committee, where he is co-chair.

Behn was re-elected in 2004 with 19,409 votes, defeating Democratic opponent Russell D. Wiesley. [1]
