Jerome Edward Listecki

Jerome Edward Listecki (born March 12, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois) is a Roman Catholic bishop currently of the Diocese of La Crosse, Wisconsin. He was ordained to the Roman Catholic priesthood on May 14, 1975 for the Archdiocese of Chicago. He is a retired lieutenant colonel in the United States Army Reserves. On November 7, 2000, he was appointed auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese of Chicago by Pope John Paul II; he was ordained a bishop on January 8, 2001. On December 29, 2004, Bishop Listecki was appointed Bishop of the Diocese of La Crosse, succeeding Bishop Raymond Leo Burke, who became archbishop of the Archdiocese of St. Louis, Missouri. On March 1, 2005, Bishop Listecki was installed as Bishop of the Diocese of La Crosse.
