Jeremy Sheffield (born March 17, 1966 in Kelvedon, Essex, UK) is an English actor. Jeremy trained as a ballet dancer with the Royal Ballet at Covent Garden before becoming an actor. However his ballet career was brought to an end at the age of 27 by a broken toe and torn ligament. He has notably been in the UK drama Holby City where he played Alex Adams (2000-2003). Recently he has starred in the 2005 movie The Wedding Date along side Debra Messing and Dermot Mulroney. Other credits to his name include "Murder in Suburbia" (2004), in which he played DCI Sullivan, and the BBC's "Hearts Of Gold" in which he played Dr. Andrew John. He is one of the UK's few openly gay actors.

Sheffield can currently be seen in the United Kingdom and Ireland in an advertisement for Renault Clio with the French actress Annelise Hesme entitled 'Ben and Sophie'. He is also regularly featured on the BBC's Holiday programme in which he has visited Mexico, Egypt, Sichuan, South Africa and Bermuda.

He appeared as a dancer in Queen's music video for I Want to Break Free. This was followed years later by a much more prominent music video role where he played the male lead opposite Natalie Imbruglia in the video for "Torn".

He also played the role of Tom Rourke in the episode 'Coming Up For Air' in the BBC1 series "The Afternoon Play" in 2003.
