Jeremy Shane Guthrie is currently a right-handed relief pitcher for the Cleveland Indians. During the 2006 season he also served as a starting pitcher for the Buffalo Bisons. He was called up to the Major Leagues to work out of the bullpen during the 2006 season on two different occasions. Guthrie currently is listed on the 25-man roster of the Cleveland Indians. He wears #57 for both the Indians and the Bisons.
In a relief appearance with the Cleveland Indians, Guthrie was ejected for "intentionally hitting a batter." He suffered no further penalties.
Guthrie was born on April 8, 1979 in Roseburg, Oregon. He currently lives in Las Vegas, Nevada with his wife Jenny and his daughter Avery. [1]
