Jeremy Borash (born May 28, 1977 in Minneapolis, Minnesota) is an American professional wrestling play-by-play commentator, announcer, booker, video producer and website designer. He was heavily involved in the now defunct World Wrestling All-Stars promotion, and has been an influential staff member of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling since its inception in 2002. He is currently a member of the TNA creative team.

[edit] World Championship Wrestling
Borash became involved in professional wrestling in 2000 after he met a World Championship Wrestling official while attending an Extreme Championship Wrestling event. Borash was employed by WCW as a member of the creative team, then headed by Vince Russo. He also acted as the anchor of the WCW Live! Internet radio show, along with Bob Ryder.
One of Borash's more memorable tasks took place on September 17, 2000 in Buffalo, New York, when Borash was assigned to pick up actor Gary Coleman (who would be making an appearance at that evening's Fall Brawl pay-per-view) from the airport and take him to the arena in time for the show. The famously eccentric Coleman insisted on visiting a hobby store, leaving them with little time to spare before the outset of the show, and told Borash that under no circumstances would he utter his popular catchphrase from the television series Diff'rent Strokes ("Whatchoo talkin' 'bout...?") because he had "moved on" from that point in his career. A beleaguered Borash, knowing that Coleman was scheduled to have a guitar broken over his head by Jeff Jarrett later that night, unsuccessfully attempted to bribe Jarrett into hitting Coleman "as hard as he possibly could...in an attempt to actually injure little Arnold". In late-2000, Borash was put on WCW television, where he played the character of Vince Russo's dim-witted assistant. His first major television appearance took place in the Cow Palace in San Francisco, California on the October 6, 2000, episode of WCW Monday Nitro, which saw Borash attempt to drive the heel Russo to the ring in a vehicle which resembled the popemobile. Borash was thwarted by Goldberg, who kicked him in the face through the window of the vehicle.
[edit] World Wrestling All-Stars
After WCW was purchased by the World Wrestling Federation in March 2001, Borash joined Andrew McManus' burgeoning World Wrestling All-Stars promotion as a commentator, ring announcer and Director of Talent. Many other WCW almuni had joined WWA, including Russo and Russo's friend, former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Jarrett. WWA toured Australia and Europe before holding two pay-per-view events in the United States of America, which had been dominated by the WWF since the bankruptcy of Extreme Championship Wrestling in April 2001. WWA continued to operate throughout 2002, but closed down in 2003.
[edit] Total Nonstop Action Wrestling
Borash signed with Jeff and Jerry Jarrett's upstart Total Nonstop Action Wrestling promotion in 2002, and debuted in TNA on June 19 as a ring announcer, booking consultant and media spokesman. Along with Shane Douglas, he began hosting Xplosion, TNA's syndicated television program, upon its inception in 2003. In May 2005, TNA replaced booker Dusty Rhodes with a committee, and Borash was appointed as a member. In addition to his formal duties, which currently includes interviewing on TNA iMPACT!, Borash occupies a myriad selection of roles within TNA, including authoring a column for TNA's website, "From The Inside", and creating video packages to promote upcoming events.
Borash was involved with Shane Douglas' Hardcore Homecoming event, and produced the DVD of the event which was released.
