Jennifer Schefft (born July 23, 1978) was the final choice of the third bachelor, Andrew Firestone. After she and Andrew decided to go their separate ways, she became the star of the third season of The Bachelorette. After sending 24 other men home, Jen selected Jerry. However, in a surprising turn of events, Jen told Jerry that they should "just be friends" on the show's live finale. [1]

Schefft was born and raised in Mentor, Ohio and graduated from Mentor High School in 1994. She attended Ohio University in Athens, graduating summa cum laude with a bachelors degree in business administration in 1998.
