Jan Mosand: Born 12.06.1960 in Norway

Humanitarian worker Jan Mosand has broad experience in training and humanitarian management. Mr. Mosand is leading in design of project cycle management. Team leader in UN operations, Red Cross system and International NGO. World wide recognised as facilitator, moderator, trainer and manager. Specialized in complex emergency and Refugee camp management. Jan Mosand has lived and worked in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Tanzania, Zambia and Europe. Mr. Mosand has moderated reconciliation in Muslim communities and a bridge maker in community development. He has published manuals and articles about the link between relief work and long term development.

Jan Mosand is educated in organisational development and management from the University of Bergen in Norway. Still active and involved as consultant for UN organisations and International NGOS. Mr. Mosand is currently living and working in Zambia.
