Jegsy Dodd is an English performance poet from Liverpool.

He came to prominence in the 1980s when he recorded a John Peel session with his backing group The Sons of Harry Cross. His current backing band is called The Original Sinners.

Dodd's track "Grumpy Old Men" was number one in the 2005 Festive 50.
