[edit] Welcome from Redwolf24
Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. We as a community are glad to have you and thank you for creating a user account! Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The Five Pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Editing, policy, conduct, and structure tutorial
- Picture tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Naming conventions
- Manual of Style
- Merging, redirecting, and renaming pages
- If you're ready for the complete list of Wikipedia documentation, there's also Wikipedia:Topical index.
Yes some of the links appear a bit boring at first, but they are VERY helpful if you ever take the time to read them.
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, please be sure to sign your name on Talk and vote pages using four tildes (Redwolf24 02:44, 10 July 2005 (UTC)) to produce your name and the current date, or three tildes (Redwolf24) for just your name. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome.

P.S. I like messages :-P
P.P.S. You've been rather helpful with Maryland articles. :) Redwolf24 02:45, 10 July 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Maine state routes/State Routes/State Route System

[edit] Template:Geolinks-US-streetscale name change to Google Maps
Hello, could you please help change the Template:Geolinks-US-streetscale so that it reflects the new name change of Google Maps to Google Local? I noticed you because you were listed in the edits history as being the last person to change it from Google Maps to Google Local, and I thought that may be you would be able to change the template back to the semi-new name. See here - it's a very important template and the error should not be ignored... for too long, at least! :-) Thanks so much.
Sincerely, –- kungming·2 | (Talk·Contact) 04:38, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
- Ok then - it's alright, I'll see if I can bug an admin to help me do it. Personally, I think it was a good name change because even when the name was "Google Local", my friends and myself would still call it "Google Maps" - the name just stuck. Thanks anyway. –- kungming·2 | (Talk·Contact) 01:11, 11 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] WikiProject Maryland
I just happened to consider a few minutes ago "I wonder if Maryland has a WikiProject?", and was about to create one until I noticed that you had the same thought a few days ago. I've written a lot of articles about Maryland people, and I look forward to collaborating with fellow Marylanders. --tomf688 (talk - email) 18:40, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Double redirect
Instead of making this edit, you could instead move Nevada State Route 400 back to State Route 400 (Nevada), as the name of the route is State Route 400. --SPUI (T - C) 23:21, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
- Um, no. --Rschen7754 (talk - contribs) 22:32, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
- When I see a double redirect, I don't care what naming convention has been decided, or is being debated, I change it to point to where the article currently resides. If the article is moved then the redirect can always be changed again.-Jeff (talk) 01:55, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Final state highway naming conventions debate
Jeff02, your participation is welcome in the Wikipedia:State route naming conventions poll. Please give your input as to the process by 23:59 UTC on August 8.

[edit] Wikipedia:State route naming conventions poll/Part2#Delaware
I have brought up evidence that Route X (thus <Delaware> Route X) is the common name. Please consider changing your vote. --SPUI (T - C) 05:35, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
