[edit] Introduction

My real home page can be found here.

[edit] Experience

I have a B.S. in CSE (computer science and engineering) and M.S. in CS (computer science). I'm working on my Ph.D. in computer science at the University of Connecticut.

I have taught a wide variety of courses, and have recently become interested in teaching programming languages.

[edit] Interests

Computer-related:

  • programming langauges
  • virtual machines
  • networked and distributed computing

[edit] Other

I just returned from a trip to Thailand. I spent time in in a tiny northern farming village in Sakon Nakhon on the Khorat Plateau that just recently (within the last few years) got electricity and running water.

This area was not affected physically by the recent tsunami caused by the 2004 Indian Ocean Earthquake.
