Jeffrey W. Greenberg

Jeffrey W. Greenberg is the former chairman and CEO of Marsh & McLennan Companies. His father is Maurice R. "Hank" Greenberg, former chairman and CEO of AIG, and Director Emeritus and Honorary Vice Chairman of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). His brother is Evan G. Greenberg, president and CEO of ACE Limited. Jeffrey Greenberg is also a member of the CFR and serves as a trustee of the Brookings Institution. Greenberg resigned as CEO of Marsh & McLennan after the firm was charged with rigging, and as part of a lucrative kick-back scheme, "stifling competition" according to Attorney General Spitzer.
