Jeff Schultz

Jeff Schultz is a defenseman drafted in 2004 by the Washington Capitals in the 1st round. He was born in the city of Calgary, Alberta on February 25, 1986. He is six feet, and six inches tall, weighs 212 pounds and shoots left-handed.

Schultz spent four seasons (2002-03 to 2005-06) in the Western Hockey League with the Calgary Hitmen. He played seven games in the 2005-06 playoffs for the Capitals' top minor-league affiliate, the Hershey Bears; he has also been playing in the 2006-07 season for the Bears.
