Jeff Petry

Jeff Petry is a prospect for the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League. He was born December 9th, 1987 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He currently plays for the Des Moines Buccaneers in the United States Hockey League. Was also a member of Des Moines' 2006 Tier 1 National Championship team. He is 6 feet and 2.5 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds. He shoots right and plays defense. Petry has committed to play for Michigan State University in the fall of 2007.

He was chosen in the second round, 45th overall in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.

Jeff Petry spent 3 years playing varsity hockey at Orchard Lake St. Mary's in Michigan. He left prior to his senior season in November to play for Des Moines, in Iowa.
