Jeff Malone

Jeffrey Nigel Malone (born June 28, 1961 in Mobile, Alabama) is a former professional basketball player. He played college basketball at Mississippi State University. He is mostly known for his time with the Washington Bullets (1983-90), where he was an NBA All-Star twice. He also played for the Utah Jazz, Philadelphia 76ers, and Miami Heat. He makes his home in Macon, Georgia.

He is currently the head coach of the NBA Development League's Florida Flame.

He is nephew of Vivian Malone Jones, one of the first two African Americans to enroll at the University of Alabama in 1963, who were made famous when Alabama Governor George Wallace tried to block them from entering, triggering a showdown with federal troops.
