Jeff Katz is the afternoon talk show host at WBT in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Former police officer, he left the line of duty to work the mike rather than walk the beat. Husband and father, he has a child with special needs who is a frequent subject of his radio programs. Previously employed at KGO in San Francisco, his low ratings lead to his prompt departure in less than a year. Currently under contract to WBT, there is already talk that his contract is in jeopardy as he has lost much of the previous host's audience.
