Jeff Jahn

Jeff Jahn is a polymath curator, artist, composer and critic based in Portland, Oregon, USA.
Curator of art exhibitions like Play (2002), The Best Coast (2003), Symbiont Synthetic (2003) and Fresh Trouble(2005). His agenda has been to consistently challenge Portland's young and dynamic art scene in terms of international levels of seriousness, content and excitement. On September 5th 2002 The Oregonian stated, "...Jahn’s laser focus on the present moment emphasizes one important thing about him: He’s the voice of right now."
He has exhibited throughout the US and Germany and has published in Modern Painters, Art Critical, NY Arts Journal and Diesel among others and has appeared on CNN. In 2005 he co-launched PORT [1] an innovative art macroblog and in 2006 he launched the visual arts non-profit Organism [2], which focuses on international caliber artists. His critical writings and photos for Northwest Drizzle and PORT are detailed documentation of the recent changes in the Portland art scene.
