Jeff Hunter (born: December 9, 1959) has represented the NSW state electorate of Lake Macquarie for the Australian Labor Party (ALP) since being elected on May 25, 1991

He was re-elected at subsequent elections in 1995, 1999 and 2003


He is the son of Merv Hunter, who represented the Lake Macquarie electorate from 1969 to 1991.
