Jeff Danielson is the Iowa State Senator from the 10th District. He has served in the Iowa Senate since 2004. He received his AA from Hawkeye Community College and his BA and MA from University of Northern Iowa.

Danielson currently serves on several committees in the Iowa Senate - the Economic Growth committee; the State Government committee; the Transportation committee; and the Ways and Means committee. His prior political experience includes experience as commisioner of the Iowa Department of Transportation and as a candidate for the Iowa State House of Representatives, District 20, in 2002.

Danielson was elected in 2004 with 16,712 votes, defeating Republican opponent Frank Dowie.
