- Unfortunately, I have now had a look at the French version (via google), and it appears rather different. She was apparently spared the charge of adultery, and was able to return to Court, thanks to her mother's influence (it would appear that the evidence against her was less damning); she was then crowned as Queen in 1317 with her husband, and they continued conjugal relations, rather surprisingly, until the King's death. However, the situation of a disgraced wife nonetheless Queen is true for her sister and sister in law. Michaelsanders 18:25, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
