[edit] Plot
The story of Jeans is about two twins. The first half of the film in set in America. The second half moves down to Tamil Nadu.
Jeans' basic plot line is that of a disapproving father in the path of love. Nachiappan (Nassar) is estranged from his twin brother. He himself has two twin sons (Prashanth). The naive, NRI father wants his offspring to marry only twin girls due to the circumstances which caused him to separate from his own brother. Through a series of completely implausible events, one of the twin sons falls in love with Madhumita (Aishwarya), who has come to the USA for her grandma's (Lakshmi) brain tumour operation. When Nachiappan declares that he would marry his sons to twin girls only, Krishnaveni fibs that Madhumita also has a pair of twins. When Nachiappan and his sons travel to India to meet the other girl, Madhumita begins to pose as Vaishnavi, the second twin.
