Jeannie Berlin (November 1, 1949) is an Oscar-nominated American actress.
Jeannie Berlin is the daughter of screenwriter Elaine May. She made her screen debut in Getting Straight, the final film of Cecil Kellaway. In 1972, she was nominated for a Golden Globe and an Academy Award for her role in her mother's movie The Heartbreak Kid. However, at the Golden Globes she lost to Shelley Winters for The Poseidon Adventure and at the Oscars she lost to Eileen Heckart for Butterflies are Free.
