Jean Marie Higiro

Jean Marie Higiro born c. 1950 was the head of Television and Radio broadcasting in the Republic of Rwanda.

Doctor Higiro was born in Rwanda during the French Colonial Period. He matriculated at the National University of Rwanda. Later, he studied abroad in North America.

[edit] Rwandan Civil War

During the Civil war Doctor Higiro was targeted for his "moderate beliefs" and his enemies plotted to murder him. He end up escaping with his immediate family.

Doctor Higiro settled in Massachusetts and became a communications lecturer at Western New England College, in Springfield, Massachusetts. Doctor Higiro's time in the U.S. has not been uneventful. In the late 1990's, his enemies attempted to murder him in the U.S., but they did not succeed.
