Jean Jenkins

Jean Alice Jenkins (b. March 16, 1938) is an Australian educator and served as Senator for Western Australia from 1987 to 1990 as a representative of the Australian Democrats. She is also noted as an originator of professional courses in translation and interpreting, and as a campaigner for human rights and preservation of built heritage. She has been Patron of the Art Deco Society of Western Australia since 1989.
