Jean Hazlewood (4 August 1916–March 2, 1997) was an American screenwriter and wife of Richard Widmark for 55 years.

She adapted the Alistair MacLean novel The Secret Ways for the 1961 film version.

They married on April 5, 1942. Their daughter, Anne Heath Widmark, married baseball legend Sandy Koufax on January 1, 1969. She died of Alzheimer’s disease in 1997. [1]
