Jean Bricaud

Jean (or Joanny) Bricaud, (February 11th, 1881 - February 24th, 1934) - French occultist and esoteric student, head of the L'Ordre Martiniste from 1916. Bricaud, also known as Tau Jean II, was a spiritual heir of Jules Doinel (Valentinus II) and was the Patriarch of the Gnostic Church.
Heavily involved in the French neo-Gnostic movement, Jean Bricaud is a central figure in the various apostolic successionlines of the Gnostic Catholic Church, now found in various shapes.
